Long Island Birding, 2015
In March, 2015 the Three Eggs Birding Troupe went on a birding adventure along the Eastern Coast of the United States in order to identify and document as many species of bird as possible. Itinerary
- Day 1: Start from Herndon, visit Sandy Hook, spend the night in West Long Branch, NJ
- Day 2: Visit Sandy Hook, drive to Syosset, NY, explore Syosset, spend the night in Syosset
- Day 3: Visit Jones Beach and the Oceanside Nature Marine Study Area, spend the night in Syosset
- Day 4: Explore New York City, spend the night in Syosset
- Day 5: Hang out in Syosset, Visit Sunken Meadow, spend the night in Syosset
- Day 6: Head to Orient Park, bird on the ferry to Connecticut, Visit Trustom Park, spend the night in Mystic, CT
- Day 7: Visit Hammonasset Beach State Park and Sher Wood Park, spend night in Syosset
- Day 8: Drive home, visit Assuinpink Wildlife Management Area and Swan Harbor Farm Park, end up home
